    How Much Will My Dog Pencil Portrait Drawing Cost?

    Prices range from £150 for a 6″ x 8″ black and white drawing, right through to £1000-£1500 for larger drawings” full colour drawing with a beautifully complimented background. If you would like your dog portrait in pencil mounted and framed, these prices also range from £15 for 6″ x 8″to £45 for 16″ x 24″, please specify at the time of ordering if you would like your artwork mounted and framed.     How Long Will My Dog Pencil Portrait Drawing Take to Complete?

    This varies slightly, it depends on the size you choose and whether you would like your dog pencil drawing portrait in colour or black and white. Normally a black and white portrait will take 2-3 weeks and a full colour one will take 6-8 weeks. If you have a specific date or special occasion you would like your artwork ready for please let me know when ordering so I can ensure I meet your timeframe.

    Whats the Best Photograph to Use for a Dog Pencil Portrait Drawing?

    This is the most important part of ordering your dog drawing, if the photo you have reflects clarity and shows great detail then it will more than likely be perfect for me to use. Please take a look at my photo guide page for more advice, this may help you take the best picture of your pet and also give you more of an idea on what is suitable as reference. I can work from both digital photos, maybe taken on a phone, through to using a traditional photo print. If using a photo print please make sure it is no smaller than 6×4, so I can capture as much fine detail in your pet drawing as possible. Please see photo guide for a full guide

    What Size Can I Have My Dog Pencil Portrait Drawing?

    I can do your dog portrait any size up to 16″ x 24″ but remember when choosing the size you would like your dog portrait in pencil, to also consider if you would like it mounting and framing, as this can add 4″-6″ inches to the overall size. This is quite important if you have a specific place you would like to hang your picture when finished. Please see prices/order page full full details

    What Guarantee Do I Have I Will Be Happy with My Dog Pencil Portrait Drawing?

    Prior to despatching your finished artwork I will send you a proof of your finished dog portrait, to ensure you are 100% happy. If you have any concerns or require any slight changes I will complete these for you free of charge. I offer this as a guarantee purely on the basis i have never had any unhappy customers from all the pet drawings I have completed.

    Can I Have More Than One Subject in My Artwork?

    Yes you can, you can have up to three subjects, if you require more than two subjects please let me know when ordering, as there is an additional charge of £75 for each additional subject. Please take into account though, your artwork size will need to be at least 14″ x 16″ for two subjects and 16″ x 24″ for three or more subjects. This is to ensure the artwork is large enough to capture that photorealistic finish.

    How Do I Pay for My Dog Pencil Portrait Drawing?

    When ordering your dog drawing, I initially only require a 25% deposit, from here I will then be in touch to discuss the photo reference we will be using and any other questions you may have. As I progress your portrait in pencil I will keep you updated on progress via email. Then once finished, I will send you a final proof to ensure you are 100% happy.
