The process
Six simple steps. The portrait option is always chosen from a dropdown, with the correct postage shown for the option you select.
The best source images are clear, well lit, and show your dog’s face. A high-resolution original photograph with minimal blur and visible facial features will usually produce the strongest portrait. Avoid screenshots where possible.
Upload your photograph through the website enquiry form. JPG, PNG and HEIC files are accepted, up to 8 MB.
Select one of the two portrait options from the dropdown menu:
Add optional instructions — for example head and shoulders, full body, remove the background, keep the original background, add your dog’s name, include multiple dogs, or any other request. Unusual or additional requirements may need to be confirmed before the order proceeds.
Your supplied photograph is used to produce the finished high-resolution digital pencil portrait. The result is a digitally created pencil-style artwork, not an original hand-drawn paper drawing.
Customers choosing the digital option receive their completed digital portrait electronically. Customers choosing the mounted and framed option receive the digital portrait plus the finished printed, mounted and framed A4 portrait by post.

No. The portrait is digitally created in a pencil drawing style using your supplied photograph. It is not an original hand-drawn paper artwork.
The digital pencil portrait costs £20 plus £2.99 postage, giving a total of £22.99.
The mounted and framed digital pencil portrait costs £30 plus £5.99 postage, giving a total of £35.99.
You receive a high-resolution digital pencil portrait that you can save, share and print yourself. This option does not include a physical print, mount or frame.
You receive your high-resolution digital portrait plus a printed, mounted and framed A4 version, ready to display.
The printed, mounted and framed portrait is A4 size. A high-resolution digital copy is also included.
No. The digital pencil portrait has a £2.99 postage charge. The mounted and framed portrait has a £5.99 postage charge.
Yes. The digital portrait is supplied at a high resolution suitable for personal printing.
A clear, well-lit photograph where your dog’s facial features are visible will usually provide the best source image. Avoid screenshots and heavily blurred pictures where possible.
Yes. You can request background changes through the enquiry form, along with other portrait preferences.

Your digital portrait will be supplied as a high-resolution JPG, with a PNG available on request. Final formats can be confirmed when we reply to your order.
The digital portrait will be supplied electronically. Customers choosing the mounted and framed option will also receive their finished printed, mounted and framed A4 portrait by post.
Submitted photographs are used only to fulfil your portrait request. They are not publicly displayed without your permission.
Yes. Send a clear photograph of your dog and we create a digital pencil portrait from that image. You can choose a digital file or a mounted and framed A4 print.

Yes. A personalised dog portrait from a photo is a popular gift for birthdays, Christmas, anniversaries and dog owners. The framed A4 option arrives ready to display.
Yes. If you have a favourite photograph, we can create a digital pencil portrait as a keepsake. Please tell us on the form if the portrait is a memorial so we can treat the request with care.
Yes. Option 2 is a printed, mounted and framed A4 digital pencil portrait, with a high-resolution digital copy included.
We typically reply within 1–2 working days. Timing for the finished portrait is confirmed when we respond to your request.
Yes, if the photograph is clear, well lit and shows your dog’s face. A sharp phone photo is usually better than a screenshot or a heavily filtered image.
Yes. The gallery includes Labradors, Golden Retrievers, Cockapoos, French Bulldogs, Collies, Shepherds, Spaniels, Terriers, Pugs, Huskies and mixed breeds. Any dog photograph can be used.
